This one is really annoying, keen to know if others out there experience the same thing. Using Pathfinder Outline tool to cut lines where the two pink dots are pathfinder_01.png

Instead of cutting just on the two pink dots it throws in an extra line underneath, why does the extra line appear? Does this happen to you?

Not so hard to clean this one up but it can really mess up artwork, keen for any answers thank you!

Ah...Having no fill seems to make a difference, have you had this before?

Might it be easier to just select the area you are interested in, and drag over those extra lines

using the  Pathfinder Tool with Alt key (Option) held down, to delete them?

I did not explain very well, I meant use shape builder initially instead of pathfinder.

Anyway good you sorted it out.
