Pattern Options keeps turning off

When I select Window and then Pattern Options, and use Pattern Options to create a new pattern, the Pattern Options tab closes once the pattern has been made. Is there a way to stop this and keep the tab open like every other tab, so I don't have to click on Window and then Pattern Options every time I want the tab to open?

Thanks for reaching out. Would you mind trying to "Auto-close on exiting Edit mode" under Pattern Options and checking if it helps?

You need to go to Object > Pattern > Make any when making a new pattern. And then the pattern options open automatically.

What is your workflow to make a pattern?
