PC freeze while watching videos in tutorial

Hi, I just started learning illustrator using the built in tutorials, and the ones with longer videos are making problems. 

Illustrator 2023 and 2024.

 


The video often freeze and the whole computer with it and there's nothing left to do but a hard reboot.

I've tried all the recommendations I found here at the community and the problem remains. 

 

Please help. Thank you.

We understand how frustrating it can be to encounter technical issues. Would you mind trying to run Illustrator under Safe Mode (Windows / macOS) and checking if it helps? Also, try performing a clean reinstallation of the GPU drivers (Intel / NVIDIA / AMD) and setting the Graphics Preference to High-Performance for Illustrator (https://adobe.ly/45KDK27) and sharing your observations.
