Merci d'avance !

Don't enlarge the image if you need it tobe 300 ppi. Get a larger source image instead.

Illustrator can of course resample your image to 300 ppi, but the result will probably be very blurry. In that case printing with 200 ppi might even produce the better result. But that depends on the printing process.

You might want to do the resampling using Photoshop if you have to do it at all. Photoshop has the better algorithms for it and can sharpen afterwards.

that 300 ppi setting is just the raster effects setting. The vector file itself has no resolution. What‘s in the file and with which settings exactly do you export?

It depends on how much over 300 ppi. If resolution is way too high this will cause 2 problems: the file gets too big. The images might get blurry.

Please do talk to your printer. It's important. Ask them how much resolution they really need.

It also depends on what is on the photos. Just the blue sky doesn't need that mich resolution. A tree with fine branches against a white sky will need a higher resolution.
