For the love of Bog give us PDF export. Saving a PDF from Illustrator is a cumbersome haste that requires repeating several steps and risks destroying work. Exporting a PDFfrom InDesign is a breez that remembers most of my settings, does not affect the InDesign file, and runs in the background.

How is that ideal experience designed by the same company reaponsible for the thumbscrews of saving a PDF proof from Illustrator?
