Pencil Tool Preview Not Visible While Drawing in Illustrator 29.4–29.6

It seems that the Live Pencil Tool broke a small part of the Pencil Tool. With an existing shape selected, using the Pencil Tool to modify the path of said shape, the Pencil Tool line is now invisble while drawing/modifing the shape. Makes it very difficult to use.

The Pencil Tool line when drawing is also invisble if the Stroke color has no color even if the Fill color has a color.

You can either turn off the Live Pencil preview or you can turn on the option that the pencil creates a fill. Double click the pencil tool in the toolbox for that.
