Persistent Panels not staying persistent

Greetings,

Illustrator 29.1

OS X 14.7.1

My custom Symbols panel is not staying persistent.

I have tried:

Nesting Panel in bar

Floating Panel

Saving Workspace

None of these keep the panel after a quit/launch of Illustrator.

Anyone else have this?

Thank you for the prompt.

I assumed that the file pathway of previous versions worked in the new version since when installing the new version and it copied the setting over...
Previous pathway: /Users/<USER>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Illustrator 29/en_US/Symbols

I copied the symbol over to:
/Applications/Adobe Illustrator 2025/Presets.localized/en_US/Symbols

Now it sticks. Who would have thought that the old ways no longer worked as planned.

That might explain why my scripts vanished as well.

Where is the symbols library saved?

Scripts have no user library location, so they never transfer between versions. I would have though there would be no issue with that symbols library location though.
