Pixelated Drop Shadow

Hi,

Creating a drop shadow off of regular text, but the drop shadow comes out very "pixelated" and not smooth at all.

The view mode is not in pixel preview or anything.

Took a screenshot of the screen.

Anyone have a clue why it's like this?

          Hello Jacob! What do you mean by increasing the Document Raster Effects Settings? the Resolution or the "Add: 36 px Around Object"? Thanks in advance!
