Question

Pixelated rectangles

Hello,

I've read through so many threads and many people are having pixelation issues with lines, images, logos, etc in Illustrator and InDesign. Is there any easy answer or way to fix this? I've spent almost two hours trying every trick I've read to see if I can prevent pixelation around an angled rectangle.  I have to get business cards printed and even the print shop can't figure out how to get rid of the pixelation.

Sometimes, it looks crisp on screen but prints jagged. Other times, it looks jagged on screen and prints jagged. We've spent most of the week with edits, recreating files, saving in different formats, with or without anti aliasing, etc.

Please help!

This is a really big question to ask. document size and resolution are the key factors as to how things look on the page or screen.

Hope this answer your general question. if you would like specific answers based on your document(s) please provide detail information of what you are doing, and what you want the end goal to be so we can guide you.

The volunteers here give their time and attention to help other users, but when they're only left to guess, fewer of them are willing, and it's not very effective. Without a lot more information, all anyone here can do is guess at your problem. Post more specifics about your system, applications, and the problem, and show an example with an explanation of how it came about. Screenshots always help.
