Please, Adobe, when will you finally add the QR Code generator in Illustrator ??

Hey,

I'm creating tons of QR codes, to put in presentations, ads, flyers, you name it.
Everytime I need a new one, I must open InDesign, create it, copy it, paste it in Illustrator, change the shape (we like to make the QR codes rounded so, I make round corners), add a little logo in the center to make it nicer (see attached example).  All this takes a whole bunch of time and ressources from my computer. Even if I took the QR code from the Adobe express, I would have the same issue: making the QR code in another application and edit it in Illustrator.
So, my question is: why don't you add that feature directly in Illustrator? I see people begging for this functionnality for years, meaning I'm not the only one facing this issue.

Thank you for taking this into account!

Best,

Catherine

THere are a couple of scripts that do it. Why not use one of them?

Why not use a script?

Script can be assigned a shortcut in Illustrator.
