I'm trying to create a text box that stretches horizontally across my project. However, if I try to do that, the text will not fit with the shape I am trying to make. The text remains on the left side (even though I have the text set to centered), and the text box seems to split itself in half, preventing the text from flowing all the way to the right side. When I try to change the size of the text box by free-handing it (I hope that is the right word), it refuses to change it's shape at all, no matter if I try to make it bigger or smaller.
I have made sure that the layer is unlocked, that the text is set to center, and I have tried changing the font and size settings. I have also tried grabbing the middle blue square and dragging that around, but no matter where I try to pull it, it reverts back to where it is in the images attached. I have even tried holding the very right white square and dragging it to the right edge of my artboard, and even then it bounces back to where it is now.
Thank you for taking the time to read this!
