PLZ Help! Lines / Rectangles That I Can Not Remove?

I completed several layers of an artboard (with lots of TIME spent), but these lines / boxes showed through all of them and spoiled it for me..

I then stripped all the layers down to the artboard and still could not remove them.

PLEASE HELP- Struggling newbie here!

It looks like you have drawn 2 artboards on your original one. Go to the artboard panel and see if they are there and if so, simply delete them.
