Hi there, I have clipped my image into a neat mask but when I export as a PNG a white area is still pulling in at the original size of the photo that has been clipped. Please assist.

See export box on LHS

you forgot to change the background color.

you should choose "transparent" option from the list.

Select the clipped image, choose Object > Artboards > Fit to Selected Art

When Expoting As... check the Use Artboards checkbox

Hello,

Even when the transparent option was checked, a white box actually appeared showing the artboard with Illustrator 2021 when exporting art. I have tried other ways to export with the same result. Please offer suggeestions?  Also, I have noticed I may need to update drivers with Illustrator. Could this affect exporting pngs?
