Polish Characters Adobe Illustrator 2021

Question

Hi all,I'm using the glyphs window to type in various languages, however, I notice a lot of the Polish characters are missing from the glyphs panel. Can anyone advise on an alternate way to access them, or a location where there might be additional glyphs? Thank you!

OpenType Pro fonts have support for the Polish language.See better language support:https://www.adobe.com/products/type/opentype.html

Would help if we knew if you are on mac or windows, and how many characters you need to type.

First use like OpenType Arial or Garamond which have the polish characters. Old type1 version of fonts might not have all the characters.

If just a few, copy and paste from this page (scroll down to the table)

if the font has then you will get that characters

ł - this one is most often missing in many fonts

ń ą - the accent and ogonek charachters are in other languages so that you usually find in most fonts

If you have lots of polish to type, you will want to look at installing the polish version of Adobe suite and changing your keyboard layout using your control panel. Or you can also look into how to type using the unicode.

In summary there is not just one best way, there are many methods for getting foreign characters.
