polygon glowing line pattern

Hello,

Im trying to create a similar pattern as in the attached image in illustrator that would repeat and the colors would be editable.

I've setup guides based on a polygon/triangle shape but I cant seem to figure out how to create the transparent areas that mask the lines yet stay within an angle.

Thank you so much fo any tips or tutorial links/ solutions.

Please try opasity mask in Ai that is similar as in Photoshop

You can draw your 3D cyan Rubiks cube in Illustrator, and repeat that.

I would though use photoshop for the masking
