PowerPoint Problem

I'm having a problem with my Powerpoint file. I have successfully converted it to a PDF, but when it is printed by Amazon, there are pages with defects. Most recently, it was suggested that I convert my Powerpoint File to an Adobe File. I don't know how to do that. This File is about 80 Pages long, including blank pages. It is the third book in a Children's three-book series.

My question is: How to Convert my Powerpoint to an Adobe Illustrator File? Please Help!

The unfortunate truth is, Powerpoint is entirely inappropriate for the job of creating professionally printed books. The 'convert to Adobe' advice sounds like someone has missinterpreted to the more appropriate advice 'use an Adobe program. In this case, it would probably be a case of using Illustrator and Photoshop for the graphics, and InDesign for the layout.

You'd better just start using a proper layout application instead of Power Point.

There is no "cenversion" to "an Adobe file" (whatever that may be). Illustrator can import a PDF and then you get what you get, maybe the issues are gone, mayba not, maybe there will be other issues.

I'm not sure why anyone would suggest converting a Powerpoint file to an Illustrator file as a solution to anything. That just sounds like a recipe for more problems if anything.

Perhaps you can tell us a bit more about the nature of these defects.

This is a Children's Picture Book and Number 3 in the 3-book series. Books One and Two are also Powerpoint Files converted to PDFs that Printed just fine, but in Book #3 there are about 10 pages where the printing makes the illustrations look like an accordian. Here is an example: It was recently suggested by Amazon that I use Adobe instead of Powerpoint. I'm not familiar with Adobe, but I'm willing to give it a try. All Illustrations are saved as a jpeg. I'm trying to find out if I can copy and paste the finished illustrations into an Adobe File, or do I have to recreate each one. And what about the text for each page? Thanks for your help!
