Prefix not linked to Illustrator file in Export for Screens

New Here ,

Hi,
Here a little issue that I find very irritating.

When working on several Illustrator files, Export for Screens options tend to be linked to the file (Artboard names, formats, folder to export) as far as I can see. But the "Prefix" at the bottom right of the Export for Screens panel keeps updating based on the latest file used to export. So I keep retyping every time the prefix I want to use for the specific file I am working on, when it seems to me that the Prefix should also be linked and saved based on the file you're working on...

Any solution for that? And if not, could it be included in a future update?

@AmauryV When exporting for screens in Illustrator, the Prefix field in the "Export for Screens" panel is not linked to or saved with a specific file. It operates as a global setting that retains the last value used across all open Illustrator documents. Personally, I prefer this because it speeds my workflow. But it sounds from you, it's frustrating when working on separate projects simultaneously, as you have to manually change the prefix for each file.

The rest of the export settings, such as Artboard names, formats, and export folder, are tied to the individual file. These settings are stored within the document's metadata, allowing Illustrator to recall them when you reopen the file. The prefix is the sole exception to this rule.
