Question

Pressure Sensitivity for UGEE tablet in Illustrator cc 2017 (Mac) NOT WORKING

I am positive I have searched high AND low for the answer to this problem but the solutions never seem to match my problem exactly.

I just recently bought a UGEE drawing tablet, everything works just fine with it (pressure sensitivity included) BUT when I open up Adobe Illustrator CC 2017 the pressure sensitivity just straight up doesn't work. Keep in mind I own a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015) running on (sadly) High Sierra.

Ive tried resetting everything in Illustrator and the tablet settings but nothing works. Everything should be correct, my pen works perfectly other than the pressure sensitivity and I'm just getting so frustrated someone please help.

If there is any information I'm missing that can help you help me just lmk and I'll edit this post.

I found the driver here...

and downloaded this one...

(NEW DRIVER 2017(Mac) Latest driver for G3/M708/M1000L/HK1060 pro/HK1560/UG-1910B/UG-2150 (Mac) 2017-09-06).

Late to the party, but same issue here. I have the Ugee 2150, working on a trashcan mac. I can use pressure in Photoshop, but not Illustrator. The 'pressure' option is greyed out in all brush configs, so I have to assume it is a compatibility issue. And since Ugee hasn't updated the drivers for mac for most of their tablets in more than a year, I am not holding my breath.

Does it work when you install a Wacom driver as already described?

You can try installing a Wacom driver to try and fake out AI into thinking it can work with the Ugee tablet.
