Hello all,
Firstly I want to clarify that I am still a beginner and I am not of English origin, so sorry if there are some mistakes in my text.
I would like to print an Adobe Illustrator project measuring 51cm x 51cm on A4 paper. So I went through the Illustrator print dialog to use mosaic printing.
However my printer prints my files on both sides, which does not suit me at all since I need both sides ...
I can not find the double-sided option on the dialog box and I'm running out of ideas to solve my problem.
If anyone knows how to force single-sided printing, it would be a great help to me.
If it's of any importance I'm on a Mac OS system and my printer is a Canon iR-ADV C5534 / 5540
Thank you in advance for your help.

The settings with the sideways printing panel are not relevant to Illustrator.
From the Print menu you will find the PPD settings of the printing device.
You can find it in the Print menu of the printer's management panel.
If you have installed the custom driver, you have special options for double-sided printing preferences.

Thank you for your answer.
I still can't find where the setting is defined but I will continue my investigations

Double-sided printing - YouTube
I have a lot of videos but I'm not sure which one you're looking for.
In Page Setup, you can view the print settings that are installed.

I didn't found an answer through it though.
Since it is my company's printer it is possible that I don't have the accreditations to change the settings.

Maybe I can do this an other way... Is there any solutions on illustrator to "cut" a project in parts ? I would like to keep quality and size. There is a lot of layers so I am not sure scissors tool will work (but I don't really know how to use it...)

You could create the necessary artboards in Illustrator.
