Hi,

I am an amateur designer and I use illustrator for online marketing to Social Media etc.

I am not good at layering, flattening, etc.

I tried to print a file that I had saved as an illustrator pdf and it did not come out smooth at all!

It has lines of of different colour all the way across throughout the document.

Am i missing some print set-up settings? Flattening, need to group, layer differently?

I did try the outlining the text option but it still came out funny and wrong colouring ...

Tried to print as pdf and jpeg, and both did not print well.

I printed a normal photo to test printer and it was fine.

Thanks!

Ryan

To me this looks like your ink cartridges are empty or clogged. Can you run a test? There should be a test available in the printer.
