Hey!

I am in charge of designing id's for a company, and we tested the first design, but the plastic card print came out like this:

image0.jpegasd.png

(I blurred the original for privacy reasons)

I exported the file to pdf, as required for printing with our HDP5000 Thermal Printer. (The pdf file looked just fine)

Everything else and other images on the id printed as they should:

asdasd.jpeg

Is there any setting I should check to make it print right, or is it the printer's fault?

Thanks,

Martin

What PDF format are you printing from? Are you printing directly from Illustrator or via the ID printer software?

This seems like a compatibility/printer error. If you are printing from Illustrator directly, check to make sure all the printer drivers are updated.

If the other images printed fine, I would open the problem image in Photoshop and resave it in the format of the other images (check bits/channel).
