Printing out of illustrator

I use a graphtec cutter with my illustrator program to make small decals and such and yesterday every time I sent the document to cut it would pop up as an error for illustrator and shut down. Please help! Thank yall

i've always found printining directly from illustrator to certina printers a bit unreliable.

if there are not newer print drivers available, I have usually reverted to exporting a pdf then printing.
