Hello, I have an Illustrator file that is 3 GB in size and I need to export it to PDF with a maximum file size of 60 MB. It is important to maintain the high resolution of the images within the file. Additionally, the file contains 55 artboards, each with a size of 1080x1920 pixels.

Note: I unchecked the option (preserve illustrator editing Capabilities) also the compression (bicubic downsampling to 150 ppi-jpeg- maximum) in both color and grayscale and the pictures are all Embedded not link but the file won't be exported unless the pictures get pixels.

I assume you can safely forget that. Even when you make some very high image compression.

So is there a solution for the problem or should I recreate the file on a smaller artboard?

You can try with much higher compression (minimal quality) and smaller image resolution.

Why should the file get so small?

Because the file is a profile that contains a lot of images and needs to be sent through email or WhatsApp that's why I need it in a small file size without losing the image quality.

If it needs to have a lot of images in high resolution then upload it to a server and send a link, so people can download it.
