I have just updated illustrator to the latest version and my Properties panel has disappeared and when I do - Window > Properties, nothing happens.

Anybody had this same issue?

If so, how have you ressolved it?

Hello!
Did as you wrote upper. Renamed UXP folder.
SO, it does not worked also. Properties panel still empty.
All this happened after update Illustrator to 29.3 ver.

Fixed that. By returnung to version 29.2.1

Same problem here and I have tried various workspaces to see if the issue changes, logged out, logged in and nothing.

Kind of hard to use illustrator when I can get what I need.

Hello @WaltripGreg,

Sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind trying the following steps and checking if they help:

- Close all Adobe applications.

- Rename the UXP folder to UXP.old from the following location:
(Windows) Navigate to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\UXP
(macOS) Navigate to Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe/UXP

- Relaunch Illustrator

If the problem persists, kindly share more details, like the exact version of the OS/Illustrator, system config (CPU/GPU/Memory), and a screen recording of the problem (https://adobe.ly/47Q5ALr), so we can investigate this further.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Anubhav

Have you tried another workspace like essentials  window >> workspace >> essentials

  1. Quit Illustrator
  2. Remove or rename the Adobe Illustrator Prefs file. When you restart Illustrator, a new preference file will be created in the original location.

macOS

<OSDisk>/Users/<username>/Library/Preferences/Adobe Illustrator <version number> Settings/en_US*/Adobe Illustrator Prefs

Windows

<OSDisk>\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator <version number> Settings\en_US*\x64\Adobe Illustrator Prefs
