Proxima Nova problems

We received some PDF files with Proxima Nova, Black and Bold.  We have all the fonst installed and get no error messages, but the text is incorrect - all symbols.

 

Anyone else experience this ever?

 

Any insight greatly appreciated.

Are you using the Adont Fonts version or an installed version?

If installed, what are you using for Font Management?

If using Adobe Fonts - is your Creative Cloud Application syncing properly? Does it ask for an update?
