"Drag artwork to this panel to generate multiple assets" - not working

Everything I drag into Asset Export window becomes one asset. It says it creates multiple, but it is notr.

Solution: Illustrator considers every sublayer as separate group.
Never seen point in that. Transform each has been broken because of it forever.
