"impossible to open the program Adobe Illustrator"

I'm trying to open a smart object in photoshop beta to modify it in adobe illustrator 2024 and i'm getting the message "impossible to open Adobe Illustrator". I updated my operating system and I even tried using regular photoshop instead of beta and it's still not working.

Hello, I uninstalled both PS and AI and restarted my computer. I re-installed them and the problem persisted. My OS is Monterrey 12.7.6 and the illustrator version is 28.7 while the Photoshop version is 25.11. I've attached a screenshot of the error message. Not sure I understand what you are talking about in relation to a sample file on dropbox, i'd appreciate it if you could explain to me what you meant. Thanks
