As above.  Command-Shift-N shortcut, for creating a new folder when saving a file, no longer works in the latest version.

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about the trouble you are facing with Illustrator. I would request if you can share a few more details like:

  1. The exact version of Illustrator and the macOS.
  2. Is this happening while saving a specific file or multiple files?
  3. Are you able to create a New folder without using the shortcut?
  4. Where are you trying to save the file, locally or on any network or shared drive?

All this information will help us understand the issue and work accordingly. Looking forward to your response.

Regards

Rishabh

Thanks for sharing the details, we are able to reproduce this issue on our end and a Bug has been logged and our team is working on it. I would request if you can upvote this request here: https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447-illustrator-bugs/suggestions/39141109-cmd-shift-n-doesn-t-create-new-folder-in-finder-sa

I concur - this is SO frustrating. I hit the old shortcut keys and instantly begin typing the folder name but it just jumps back to another folder.
Please sort this out. It works for ALL other apps/Finder.
