I just got a new PC. It's completely empty, no programs, nothing. I can't for the life of me figure out how to actually get illustrator program on and running here. I downloaded some file, but it's a zip file? (.7z) and I have no idea how to extract it. Im super illiterate to this stuff. I went and downloaded what i think is winzip and got crazy spam on my computer and had to open task manager just to get out of all the pop ups by closing chrome completely. I hate that this is my only option for assistance here. Any help as detailed as possible would be appreciated. Ive already wasted an hour trying to solve this and am more than frustrated. it shouldnt be this complicated. *eye roll*

All installing takes place through the Creative Cloud app.
You won't get a physical product from Adobe. That's just not an option.
All you have to do is go to Software der Creative Cloud Download | Adobe Creative Cloud kostenlos testen
Download the Creative Cloud app, sign in with your Adobe ID and then install what you have licensed.
Sorry for that German link. It should automatically switch to your language when you load that page.

is open source, free and safe for extracting zip files
put the zip file in a new folder and you should be able to right click and ''extract here''
