I cannot find the properties panel.

It is not under the windows panel.

I have also tried resetting the essentials panel.

What am I doing wrong?

In that case you're not on CC2018.

Which system?

On the Mac you need at least 10.11

Did all that last thread said. Removed OOBE, restarted computer and login. CC Apps still does not offer anything except CC(2017) in Illustrator and says it is up to date.

Tried to contact customer care from your link. Loops me back to forums. I never had this type of problem and have been using CC for years. Just checked and only update in CC app is for Illustrator CC(2017)?
