Recalling multiple saved selections?

Hi,

Is it possible to reload multiple saved selections at once? If I load one saved selection, I have not found a way to keep that selection live and load another saved selection at the same time.

This is for CS4.

Currently, there is no straightforward "Add to Selection" functionality.

I can imagine several workarounds including an action that may automate it, but that would probably depend on naming rules of the saved selections and how the actual files are built, for example.

Can you expand on that a little more? I haven't imagined anything myself so far (except tedious ways like locking).  😉

If you can share a real sample Illustrator file that includes some saved selections, I may have a look at it.

I understand, sPretzel.

But from experience it is more productive to first get a sample file in order to check if there are possible and acceptable workarounds.

Perhaps you may share a file that is similar to the file that you cannot share at the moment?
