Recent file missing

Hi, 

I've worked on several files on illustrator. Saved them all as always "cmd+s". 

Later one of the files I couldn't found on my mac. Usually I just type the file name in the files search. 

I typed the name of the file and mac didn't find any. So I open illustrator and can see it there: file > open recent files > "The file.ai" and it says: "File does not exist: The file.ai"

Please help...

Hi. Please check if you're saving your files on the cloud instead of your local drive.

I have the same problem.

Worked for several hours, saved now and then.

But one saving somehow „deleted“ the file.

Illustrator 2022

The file and porgram froze. After reopening illustrator (Which crashed several times during restart),

there was only an .temp file, which could not be restored.

Illustrator 2022 is not working at all. And Creative Cloud bugs, if I try to uninstall it.

It's a nightmare.
