Recreate handwriting

Well I am in the process of making my first banner design on illustrator.  I have gotten great ideas here so my next question is what would be the best way to recreate my handwriting? I was thinking the brush or blob tool. Thank you in advance.

You can try with a calligraphic brush.

But you might need to vectorize your handwriting the hard and manual way by using the pen tool.

There are multiple kinds of brushes in Illustrator and I would recommend exploring the Calligraphic brush for this kind of writing. There is lots of information on this page…

How to work with brushes in Illustrator

You can draw directly with a Calligraphic brush or you can spend a lot of time carefully constructing paths using all of the vector tools and then apply a Calligraphic brush later.
