Hay guys I try to put a rectangular picture in a slanted monitor.
Unfortunately, I don’t get the desired shape. When I search in forum is always pointed to Photoshop.
Since I never work with Photoshop, it would be nice if it also works with Illustrator.
Additional problem maybe. The picture isn’t a vector it’s just a screenshot. The monitor is a vector.

Select your image and a vector rectangle above it that matches your monitor screen and choose:
Object > Envelope Distort > make with Top Object.

Thanks for your help I didn't know! But unfortunately it doesn't fit the shape.
Maybe another idea?

I would not start with a rounded rectangle, you can always round the corners later or use a rounded clipping mask.

Frotzzi,
What happens if you try this?
1) Create a rounded rectangle on top of the artwork shown to the right, giving it the right rounding radius (as when seen stright on),
2) Select 1) and the artwork and Ctrl/Cmd+7 to Mask out the parts at the corners,
3) Create the rectangle like the one shown in the middle, only without rounded corners, just sharp ones,
4) Select both 2) and 3) and do what Ton said: Object > Envelope Distort > make with Top Object.

Hi Ton,
I had to leave a bit while posting, hence the cross posting.
