Remove Extension

I want to delete an extension from the extension menu in Illustrator....

I already deleted its all content but it still present in extension menu....

    The extension code is in "C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Adobe Flash Builder 4.5\<MyExtensionGoesHere>", but that is not where the product loads it from - when you launch your extension from extension builder, extension builder copies your compiled extension into the user service manager folder (see the paths above) - which is where Illustrator looks for extensions (it also looks in the system service manager folder). You need to delete the folder from the user service manager folder or it will remain in Illustrator's extensions menu, even if you've deleted the original extension builder project.

    How did you install the extension? Was it from Extension Builder or Extension Manager?

    You probably need to delete the extension from the user (and possibly system) service manager folder. The directories are:

    Mac:

    - User folder: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CSxServiceManager/extensions/<MyExtensionGoesHere>

    - System folder: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CSxServiceManager/extensions/<MyExtensionGoesHere>

    Win:

    - User folder: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CSxServiceManager\extensions\<MyExtensionGoesHere>

    - System folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CS5.5ServiceManager\extensions\<MyExtensionGoesHere>

      I installed it using Extension Builder

      if i installed using Extension manager then the path is same as provided by you :

      System folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CS5.5ServiceManager\extensions\<MyExtensionGoesHere>

      but when using Extension Builder the path where Extension goes is :

      C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Adobe Flash Builder 4.5\<MyExtensionGoesHere>

      but the problem is that even i deleted it from that location, the extension still exist in Illustrator's Extension menu

      dont know why...???
