Remove white background from an effect

When I do a effect "Ocean ripple" on an object it leaves a white background. How do I remove that? If I have another colored background, the white pops out.

Check the element's Attributes > check Fill ( make sure is is not set to Overprint ).

Hi, it's not set to "Overprint Fill", it's not ticked. Please let me know any other option.
