Saved EPS file as TIFF for print.  Lost the original EPS.  Wondering if I can revert TIFF to original EPS?  Maybe file has original EPS info embedded...

There's no vector content embedded in a TIF saved from Illustrator.

In a Photoshop TIF there might be shape layers and paths.

If you saved the EPS file before saving it as TIFF, you should still have the EPS file. The Tiff would not overwrite the EPS.

However, if you did not save the EPS, once a file is saved as TIFF, you can re-open it and save as EPS. But there would be no reason to do so because the EPS is not embedded in the TIFF and it will not bring back the original EPS.

I'm not sure why the file needed to be saved as TIFF for print. EPS is a good file format for print, although nowadays there are other formats that would be considered better.
