Right-click bug with new OSX update (El Capitan)

So, I just updated to new OSX El Capitan, seeing that no compactibility issues with Adobe Illustrator were reported. But after I started it, I found out there is no right-click any more. Context menu won't show up no matter what I do. I tried everything, CTRL+left click, disabling Graphic Acceleration, and all the usual stuff, but it didn't help. Then I disconnected my external monitor and right click menu started showing up again. And when I connect my external monitor, the right-click menu gets disabled again. It doesn't matter which monitor I use for Illustrator, it happens on both of them. I'm using an Macbook Pro 15" Retina 2013 with GeForce graphics card.

Does anybody know a solution for this? For now I have to choose if I will work 2x slower (without external monitor) or 3-4x slower (without right click) and my job is suffering.

it is in your user library...

the Finder desktop menus... Go

will drop down and show your Library it if you hold down the OPTION key.

then find. preference folder... adobe illustrator 19.. then en_US. and finally WSMgrCfg

keep digging until you get there

~library/preference/adobe illustrator 19/en_US/WSMgrCfg

Also need to mention to possibly restart Illustrator and/or your computer.

Quit Illustrator

delete the contents of that WSMgrCfg folder... 

Change it to Read Only..

Restart Illustrator

Hello,

We have fixed this issue in our latest CC 2015.2 update. Please apply the patch using Adobe Creative Cloud application.

If you do not see the patch right away

1. Go to Adobe Creative Cloud application
2. Click on the Gear icon on the top right
3. From the menu select “Check for App Updates”

Adobe should be apologizing for this low level of technical support.

Neither the 2015.2 patch nor the "/en_US/WSMgrCfg" thing worked for me.

I'm still unable to properly use my software.

tp-doku​ andersonid​ Not sure of the problem as this is an old thread. Right click was broken on the latest version of MAC OS X back that time. We then added support for El Capitan in January this year.  The issue has been fixed for more than 6 months now. Our latest builds have it.

This Bug is not out of the world. All of a sudden it appears. Not all the time, but sometimes!
