right click to change ruler units is not working in illustrator 2017

We just upgraded my office of 15 designer. Some have this and other don't. We all run two monitors. I cannot change the units in my ruler with at right click, nor can I arrange with right click. Others can. Any suggestions?

Other forums complaints are similar but I see not real solution.

Thanks.

I am guessing that you meant video cards? I did switch primary and secondary and it worked on one the secondary monitor (which became my primary) but not the other original primary. This is really wonky! Both monitors are exactly the same age and type.

I will have to investigate how we are connecting our multiple monitors.

Yes, video cards. Sorry for that typo.

The Actual fix is to: FILES -> DOCUMENTS and change the units in there. Problem fixed!

These answers are all rubbage, There is an override preset in Adobe blocking the Unit change. I still have not found the solution but changing your graphics card is ridiculous.

Thanks for your help in narrowing the problem. MS

Update on this issue: My video card is top of the line.I changed cables. The problem persisted.  However, when I made sure that the frame was in the monitor completely and not overlapping the two screens, the function worked. I now right click ONLY as long as the application frame is one of the two monitors. It will not work if the frame is overlapping. This indicates a code issue. Hope Adobe reads these forums. BTW, Photoshop does something similar. When using multiple monitors, and the applications frame overlaps, the image inside the frame disappears.
