Is it possible to do what is in this video of Flexisign with AI.

When rotating images I need to trace for monuments it helps when you can actually preview the movement instead of a bounding box

Select the object. Double-click the Rotate tool in the Tools panel to open the Rotate dialog box. Put a check on Preview. Click inside the angle setting and use the up and down arrows on your keyboard to rotate the object. If you hold down Shift while using the up and down arrows, you can rotate in 10 degree increments.

That works but that is really annoying.  Having the ability to rotate freely with the handles and see the results is so much easier.  I guess the technology just is not there.

You can log a feature request at Adobe Illustrator Feedback

It is a feature that Adobe has the ability to add, and would be appreciated by many Illustrator users.
