We have some Brand New Workstations with very powerful Nvidia RTX3060 GPU cards, and we canot upgrade to the latest Illustrator version (26.3.1). It says Not Compatible, we have some other older computers with lower end cards and those allowed that upgrade. Something is wrong, from my point of view. Isn´t ?

What is your use OS version?
If it is still old Windows 10, you will not be able to install.
(Currently, 1909 or later version is required. However, considering Microsoft's support, you should go with the latest 21H2)

Incidentally, XD also requires Windows 10 version 1909 or later, so if both are can not install, it is assumed that the OS version may be low.

Hello @hugov96452096,

I hope updating Windows as suggested by Assauge helped resolve the problem. If not, kindly update this thread so we can investigate this further.

Regards.

Hello @hugov96452096,

Sorry to hear about this experience. As suggested by Mylenium and Brad, this could be an issue with the graphics drivers. Kindly update the Graphics Drivers for the NVIDIA RTX 360 from here (https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/results/191054/) and check if it helps. Also, try updating the OS on your computer and share your observations

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Anubhav

Nope, I have updatd the graphic driver to the latest version and it still says "not compatible". Could be any way to skip the compatibility check in Adobe Creative Cloud panel? Thank for your fast response.
Best,
Hugo

If you are using the Gaming drivers, that could be the issue. Look on NVidia's site for Studio drivers for your card, which are are crafted for graphics applications.

As always half the magic is in the graphics driver, so you may simply need to install a different version, be it an older one or the latest new one, and fiddle with the detailed settings of the NVidia panel. Impossible to say what will work with so sparse information. These issues typically boil down to specific function calls failing or the internal version number not making sense.
