Running Illustrator 29.4 64-bit on a new desktop: Cannot Export As SVG file or Save As SVG file....

I am able to Save As and Adobe Illustrator file np. Everytime I try to Export As or Save As with a SVG file, I get the Unknown Error popup.

And it won't let me attach the Adobe Illustrator file to post it here...

Would you mind sharing more details, like the OS version, if this happens when exporting to a specific folder location (internal/external/network drive or a cloud-synced folder like Google Drive/Dropbox/etc.), and when working with specific files, so I can better assist you?

Hello and thank you for your reply:

I am currently running Windows 11 ver. 24H2.

This happens when I attempt to save to my internal harddrive. The Scratch Disk has 100s of GB of space. It happens on any file I try to Export or Save As a 'SVG' file.

Each time I try to attach my Ai file, I get the following message: "

"The attachment's wind test.ai content type (application/postscript) does not match its file extension."

Thanks for confirming. Kindly upload the screenshot of the settings used while exporting and the error message, and a sample AI file you're having trouble with to a file-sharing service like Google Drive/Dropbox/etc. and share a public link to it here, so I can try this on my end.

Note: While sharing the file, kindly make the link public and enable the option to Save a Copy/Download under the Link Settings (if any).
