Hello!

I want to ask you, I am going to print the banner 3x1,5 metres and it is prepared 1:10. The graphic designer from the print studio sent tme the instruction that bleed should be 2 cm, but I am not sure how much should be the safe zone - I got a design that contain more elements, text so it is quite close to the edges.

What do you use often for this type of print. Thank you.

You need to talk with your printer. They can tell you specifically what safe margins and margin of error is for their production equipment.

Hello petrab60631600,

Thanks for reaching out. The 'safe' area should sit 3mm in from the trim line on all edges of your artwork, resulting in all elements being positioned 5mm from the outside of the bleed area. However, this may change with the printing equipment's specifications and margin of error, so it is advisable to consult the printer first, as suggested by Kevin.

Kindly update this thread if you need further assistance. We'd be happy to help.

Thanks,

Anubhav
