Save as EPS is producing half EPS files, half .TMP files

Hi all,

I'm trying to export about 50 artboards from an .ai file as .eps's. When I attempt to save the artboards, half of them export as .eps's as instructed, but half export as .tmp files and I have no idea why. They also produce a random name rather than that of the artboard. Has anyone else experienced this?

I'd be grateful for any support, thanks!

I think the tmp files are probably the eps files in transit so to speak, they haven't made it all the way to epses yet - are you saving to a network or external drive? (If you are, don't).

Does it "stop" at the same place every time? Maybe export that artboard on it's own...

Export in smaller batches.

I tried exporting smaller batches (of 10 per export), no change - still half become tmp's (after an hours wait, still no change). It must have been because I was exporting to OneDrive, as I've just tried saving them to my desktop, which worked! Thanks for your help 🙂
