Save as PDF - only include visible layers

I'm just trying to save an Illustrator file as a PDF, but only want it to include visible layers. But where I save it, all the layers are on the PDF.

I assume this is possible, but not sure how. How do I get the PDF to only show the visible layers?

You can turn off the "Create Acrobat Layers from Top-Level Layers" which will save a PDF without layers (and discards the hidden layers).
