Save Variable Library Error

Hi

I want to use variables to generate graphs (approx 100) using this tutorial 

When I try to use  Save Variable Library with a Data Set is present I get the following message..

"the filter cannot complete because of an unknown error"

If I delete the Data Set it works.

Is this a bug or have I missed something in the setup?

Found a solution, it's a bug. Reverting back to previous version of Illustrator is the solution.

Got same case as yours. I have spent barely a day to find what's wrong until I bump to your answer.

It's definitely a serious bug in this version. No other way. Must reverting back and install previous version.

Hi Ger22, it looks like i share the same issue as yours. May i ask you at which version did you have to revert? I tried the 26.3 but still it didn't work.

Hi everyone, battling with this issue at the moment, Reverted back to earliest version I could, (28.0) but seems to still be an issue. 

Really frustrating because this would be a perfect feature for me, but I have to keep deleting data sets and re-adding. It's time consuming
