Saving as a PNG

New Here ,
Aug 22, 2018 Aug 22, 2018

Hello i was creating a random image in illustrator and have attempted saving the file as a png using the export option. When it saves to my desktop the preview image looks fine but when i double click on it , it looks terrible. I was wondering if anyone knows the reason for this or a fix. When i save it as a jpg it looks fine. Also does anyone know why the text in the middle looks different shade of black i made sure they all used the same. Im new to any of this and 15 so i just need some guidance also i tried searching but didnt come up with it.

p.s. yes theres a lot i need to fix i know not the final product just trying to show it to someone.

When exporting, after you've named the file there is a panel which asks about Anti-aliasing options.

You might find one of these options gives a better result than others depending on the image you're creating so it's worth changing them around to see which options gives you the result you're after.

This is the same line, saved with two different anti-aliasing options, you can see the one on the right is much smoother.

For the text I'm guessing it's due to it not being a solid, but an outline, I expect someone else will have a better answer than this for you though.
