Saving my Illustrator files

Why do I keep getting this message, "This file has been modified outside Illustrator. Do you want to continue?

You're on High Sierra and have some sort of Cloud synching selected?

You're saving on a server?

You're saving to a synched folder?

Will this be fixed by deselecting "Synching Paused"?

It worked. Thank you very much for your response. Why would synching be on to begin with. I don't recall doing it, although I may have inadvertently.

All Cloud stuff is turned on by default, because all those companies want you to use it.
