Hi,

Created my logo in Illustrator & wondering why there are white dots around the logo which has a transparent background. Ive saved as a png in various dpi as well as changed imaged size but problem still exists.

Thanks in advance

Todd

Todd,

Did you tick/choose Transparency when you saved as PNG?

And did you save as PNG24 (known to some as PNG32) rather than PNG8 (the latter being inferior, possibly causing the issue)?

Thanks everyone for your responses.

Much appreciated.

Using a combination of responses, I did another save made sure it was PNG24 & that fixed the issue.

Thanks again.

Do a save for web, and change your matte color from white to the average color of your background.

Do you have Anti-Aliased Artwork selected in your Preferences?

Try turning off GPU Performance. Click on the rocket ship in Illustrator's top menu bar to access it.
