I made a multi-page presentation, and all the screenshots I added suddenly disappeared. I'm disappointed.

Hi @Seren5E8C,
I'm sorry to hear about the screenshots disappearing from your presentation, I can understand how frustrating that must feel. Could you confirm if the screenshots were placed as linked files or embedded into Illustrator? If they were linked, the issue may be that the original files have been moved from their location on your computer, so Illustrator can no longer find them. In that case, you can relink them using the Links panel. If they were embedded, try checking if they appear again after switching the GPU Preview to CPU Preview from the View menu, as sometimes the GPU mode can cause them to disappear visually. Also, let me know which version of Illustrator and operating system you are on, and if this happens in all documents or just this particular file.
Looking forward to your update.
Abhishek

How hasn't this problem been resolved? If only I knew, I would have done it using PowerPoint. Why does a program like Illustrator, which should be versatile, present such a simple problem when even the simplest presentation applications don't give such an error? And this problem didn't exist before. Unfortunately, this program was better in the 2000s.

Any desktop publishing application on the earth needs the original files when you place and do not embed files. That is the ABC of publishing. And it has been like that in the 2000s.
That said: why didn't you use PowerPoint? It is the appropriate tool for the job.

No, I completely disagree. I made a PowerPoint presentation using the same methods, and it works. This is an excuse, and you know it. I don't think this is a good response. I can send you the PowerPoint presentation I made. I took a screenshot and inserted it directly in to it.

I even make the same presentation with PowerPoint, and there is no problem.

Microsoft apps, including PowerPoint, embed graphics by default when inserting and pasting. While it is possible to link to a graphic, it is not convenient. Illustrator links by default when placing, which means you need to keep track of the graphics. If you cut-and-paste, it embeds.
Personally, I would not use Illustrator for presentations when I already have PowerPoint.
Is it possible you have a copy saved on the Cloud and one locally?
One other question--you mentioned on one of your 4 near-duplicate posts that you no longer use Adobe programs. So--I'm not sure what you are looking for?

I understand you perfectly. This is a hybrid presentation. It contains vector files and some JPGs. Unfortunately, Actually I can't do it with a single program. I'll have to extract everything and put it all into PowerPoint. I think this is a weakness of Illustrator.
I don't understand what's wrong with me posting 4 posts.

You can import SVG into PPT. Of course, SVG can be saved from an AI file.
You can copy-and-paste from AI into PPT. (These can be ungrouped and edited.)
If necessary, you can export as PNG.

The second post added a screen shot. The third post added that you are no longer using Adobe programs.

BTW, did you check your Layers panel for hidden layers?

I'm sorry about yesterday. I had to rush through a presentation. That's why I was a little stressed. I couldn't manage the stress. I shouldn't have done this. I'm so sorry.

No worries.
How did you get the graphics into Illustrator? Was it pasted or placed?

@Seren5E8C How did you placed your images? Linked or embedded. Most likely linked. How do I know, if the images are embedded, the images would be part of the document. The 'blank' file of where the images were appears to be linked. It doesn't put the actual image data into your Illustrator file. Instead, it creates a "link" or a reference that points to the original location of the image file on your computer. So if you decide to move, rename, or delete the original image file, the link is "broken," and the image will disappear from your Illustrator document. This is almost certainly what happened to you. If you didn't delete the screenshots, you can relink the images. But, if you deleted the images, you are out of luck, and need to take new screenshots.
For presentations, where you want to ensure the final file is portable and self-contained, it's generally best to embed your images. To prevent this from happening again: When you're placing an image (File > Place), make sure to uncheck the "Link" box in the bottom-left corner of the dialog window. This will embed the image from the start.

Did you add the screenshots with drag and drop?
It is always safer to add them using File > Place.

Sorry to hear that happened—it sounds really frustrating. Sometimes screenshots can disappear if they weren’t fully embedded (for example, if they were linked instead of saved into the file). Could you share which app/version you’re using? That might help narrow down whether it’s a display glitch, a sync issue, or something else. In the meantime, try checking your recent backups or version history to see if the images are still recoverable.
